Galentine's Just Wanna Have Fun

If you read my goals for 2018 you saw that LOVE is one I will be focusing on this year. And what better month to kick off LOVE than February! Inspired by all the love I have been feeling lately I decided to bring together a collaboration of GIRL BOSSES to create a super fun Galentine’s Day shoot. If you haven’t heard of Galentine’s Day… you’re not alone! It is still a relatively new “holiday” …although girlfriends have been getting together around Valentine’s for years! It’s a day dedicated to celebrating the sisterhood you have cultivated with your best gal pals!

Galentine’s Day is traditionally celebrated on February 13th but we are amongst rule breakers here and celebrating on the weekend is perfectly acceptable…especially if you plan to pop a few bottles of bubbly! Or, if you and your lady squad aren’t up for planning your own event, there are most likely local Galentine’s events in your local community that you can join!

In Baltimore, we are fortunate to have two event options that will undoubtedly be amazing. Both will be held on Tuesday, February 13th. If you’re local come hang out and say hi! I am planning on attending both events.

Shae and Discover Charm City will be hosting a party at Sangria Patio Bar from 5:30pm-8pm. The event is free {no ticket needed} and includes a complimentary first drink with a donation of a feminine hygiene product.

If you’re up for party hopping, split your evening and head over to Monument City Brewing for a fun Galentine’s Party hosted by Sentimental Fools and Society of Excellent Women. The party goes from 6:30pm – 10pm and ticket{s} must be purchased to attend.

Before you head out for the evening, stress less and let A Style Studio spoil you! They will be giving free makeovers all day on the 13th!

It doesn’t get much better than women celebrating women! Together we are strong, together we are fierce, together we can rule the world! So, grab your girls… glam up for an evening out on the town, or stay in for takeout… either way have fun!
