Y’all know I love gingham and this seems to be the season to stock up!! Gingham is everywhere. What I love about this top is a few unexpected ways to wear it. Looking at this top hanging on the rack I immediately thought to style it with white jeans and sandals for a simple prep inspired spring look.

You may have noticed my {2017} spring color scheme seems to be mixing and matching a variety of blue and yellow shades. I decided to give this top a whirl with my bright yellow maxi skirt and instantly fell in love! The bright blue gingham paired with bold yellow compliment each other perfectly! Surprisingly the top tucks in quite well however I would suggest sizing down if you planned to pair it with a tight skirt similar to a pencil skirt so you have less fabric to fold into a skirt.

Then I had some fun styling this for an evening out (please ignore my white legs… I ran out of St. Tropez self tanner). I dug deep in my closet to find a white denim mini skirt, then added gold jewelry accent pieces and electric blue pumps.

You can easily create these looks with items you have in your closet. Look for a pop color skirt, skinny or ripped jeans, a dress capri or even high waist shorts. Getting creative in styling this top will allow you to wear it multiple times throughout the season without repeating an outfit!
