Woot! Woot! It’s 2022 and my first blog post of the year. As you know I try to post my blogs on Sundays and this week’s looks were styled for New Years Eve. But, since it’s already the new year I modified them to be perfect for evening date night outfits too!
If you are single or in a relationship you most likely go out on dates regularly. But for us married ones, especially with kids, we probably don’t go out as much as we would like. And I’m certainly guilty of this! It’s actually something my husband and I plan to focus on this year. Creating more “us” time whether staying in or going out.
Typically dates happen to occur in the evening and involve some type of meal or drink. While I don’t consider myself a foodie I do enjoy a nice evening out. And for the times when we do go out it’s the perfect excuse to style and wear evening date night outfits.
Since these looks were primarily styled for ringing in the new year you’ll notice a lot of black with some glitz and glam! These are especially good for fancy restaurants, cocktail parties or a night of dancing. They can also be dressed down a little by adding a pop of color, a more casual shoe and less sparkly items.
