Well, it’s officially November which means all the Friendsgiving celebrations may now commence. What I love about friendsgiving gatherings is that there are no rules! Your get togethers can be backyard bonfires, formal dinners, happy hour, brunch, cookouts, or game nights! How ever you decide to celebrate I’ve got some incredible friendsgiving outfit ideas styled for you this week!
One thing I like to keep in mind when styling Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving outfit ideas is the amount of food we could potentially consume. I don’t know about you but after a large meal and some drinks the bloating can really kick in. Which is why I always suggest wearing something that is comfortable, stretchy and can be layered nicely.
I’m sure you all know the old trick of covering your pants button so you can undo it later in the evening. If you plan to do this it’s a good idea to test out your outfit ahead of time. You’ll want to make sure your layering options cover your pant buttons should you need to release it. Don’t worry we are all friends here… no judgements!
Personally that’s why I often prefer to wear a dress. I find they can be more forgiving in areas when selecting the appropriate silhouette. And you can also easily layer a blazer, shawl, or sweater to your dress or skirt look.
Below I’ve included some of my looks from the past years to provide additional inspiration as you create your friendsgiving looks! As always I would love to hear from you. Please let me know which outfits you love and anything you would like to see styled in the future.
