Out of all the fall fashion trends the one I didn’t see coming is patchwork! Mixing different prints, patterns, and textures can be very fashionable. But it can also provide style challenges when mixing too many. This week I wanted to not only share this upcoming trend with you but also tips on how to style fall patchwork prints.
When you think about patchwork there are usually five to eight different prints/patterns throughout the garment. Which may make the item look extremely busy. The first thing you’ll want to do is balance the patchwork print with a solid colored item. Next compliment your look with accessories popping a subtle or prominent color within your patchwork item. For everyday wear I suggest keeping the accessories classy and minimal. If you are wearing patchwork for an event or special occasion don’t be afraid to add a bit more emphasis on your accessories. A great example of this is Monday’s dress and clutch combo!
