If you haven’t heard, the good ole ground hog predicted an early spring. And as exciting as that sounds, I’ll believe it when I see it because its freezing outside! Having to dress for the cold while dreaming of spring can be tough! So, I thought I would dig in my closet and pull together my top five winter looks when all you want to do is dress for spring!
PASTEL PLAIDS
One of the easiest and warmest spring inspired looks is to pair a pastel colored plaid shirt with jeans and heels. You could even add a spring color vest for additional warmth.
JUST ADD CAMO
Keep your look simple with jeans and a plain white or light-colored tee, then just add camo! Preferably a camo jacket to keep you warm. Finish off your outfit with a stylish pair of slip ons.
STYLE YOUR SPRING SWEATERS
Dig into your closet and pull out your best spring inspired sweaters. Creams, Whites, Pinks, Pastels, and Florals. Style your sweaters with distressed denim for a casual look or dress them up with a midi or maxi spring skirt
CARDIGANS + JACKETS + VESTS
A stylish way to start incorporating your short sleeve spring tops into your late winter wardrobe is by adding a jacket or cardigan. And don’t forget one of my absolute favorite layering pieces…VESTS! This can even work for your dresses and skirts too!
MAXIS
Maxi dresses can be extremely functional during the winter months. Right off the bat, a maxi is bound to keep you warmer because it covers your legs. Depending on the maxi, you might even be able to get away with a pair of tights or leggings underneath to keep you extra warm. Try to find long sleeve maxis and style them with a spring inspired cardigan or jacket.
