When I was younger my mom would create the most beautiful packages for my sister and I to open.  Each of us had our own wrapping paper where all our gifts from my parents would be wrapped in our own paper.  And then there would be the gifts from Santa; each year slightly different but always gorgeous in bright red paper and shimmery green ribbon. They looked magical like they came straight from the North Pole. I love wrapping gifts to look beautiful and special for the gift receiver. I do not have enough gifts to buy to give each person their own wrapping paper so I choose 3-4 coordinating rolls of paper, ribbons and tags each season.  This year I found the best wrapping paper options at Target and Home Goods.  I was looking for traditional or rustic wrapping paper and fell in love the buffalo plaid paper from Target!!  I also picked up a few rolls of twine and Christmas plaid ribbon.  I mix and match the paper & ribbons and for a special touch I tie in a piece or two from our Christmas Tree trimmings. {Megan Yohn Photography}
