This week’s Look of the Day Series was inspired by our most recent family photos. The other week we teamed up with Elyrose Photography at Star Bright Farm to capture some spectacular summer moments. I’ll be sharing more about that in another blog post. I had ordered a few pieces to wear for our sunset photo sessions but alas shipping delays. So I went to styling our family looks from pieces I have with us. On instagram I shared a handful of Mommy and Me outfit ideas for you to vote on. Additionally, this week’s outfits feature two amazing small business designer brands that I’m excited to share with you! I can’t actually remember when or where I first came across Innika Choo. But what I do recall is seeing their Frill Dress and immediately adding it to my wish. Innika Choo is a lifestyle brand, based out of Bali. They specialize in equiste smock dresses that call attention to whoever is wearing them. These dresses are more than your average smock dress… they are hand made, many made to order. If you love all the feminine frills and twirls this is the dress!
MADISON MATHEWS
The second brand is Madison Mathews, a casual chic brand based out of Charleston, SC. In June we were in Charleston for a few hours and I passed the Madison Mathews boutique making a note to check them out. Unfortunately, they were closed at the time but as I stared through the windows I fell in love with their easy-to-style designs and beautiful embroideries. Now after personally wearing one of their signature dresses they are one of my favorites! And I’m sure you will love them too!
