I am sharing two very different looks I recently styled incorporating ruffles!

You may or may not know but I still work full-time during the day. And it is important for me to create stylish outfits each day even though I am just going “to work”. I am a firm believer that if you feel good about your outfit and the way you look then you are more likely to have a great day!! I enjoy incorporating stylish features or trends into my everyday work wardrobe. Recently, I found this adorable Misa Los Angeles navy ruffled shoulder bodysuit from Sassanova {also available here} and thought it would be perfect for a stylish office OOTD!

I’m sure by now you know I love me some ruffles! Some of the ruffled pieces in my collection would definitely be considered a bit “over the top” for an office environment however this OOTD {outfit of the day} has the perfect balance between business class and stylish fun! To complete the look, I paired the body suit with Misa Los Angeles wide leg Nikola pant {also available at Sassanova, Julie Vos jewelry, beaded clutch and navy heels.

I hope you love this next look as much as I do…. its adorable and also from Misa Los Angeles. {Available at Sassanova as well as here, here and here} Misa Los Angeles has quickly become one of my favorite brands. I am completely in love with this particular silhouette. The Neila dress is perfect for spring/summer and could even be styled into September. The layered sleeves, ruffled skirt and colorful fringe details are flirty & fun! I recommend this dress for day or night.

It can be styled super casual with flip flops and a beach tote, or dressed up a bit with a summer heel and clutch. I went for a little in between… adding a heel and clutch but keeping it a bit more causal with bold earrings and straw hat.

The material is a lightweight, breathable chambray and I believe you should be comfortable wearing this dress in temps up to low 80’s… above that you might find that you are pretty toasty! As I mentioned above, I truly love this silhouette. The soft elastic waist is key to balance the beautiful bellowed sleeves and ruffled skirt to add dimension to your shape. I have frequently styled similar silhouettes and find it works well on a variety of body types!
