SHOPTINI HOLIDAY COLLECTION

If you had told me 3 years ago that I would have the Shoptini Holiday Collection one day, I wouldn’t have believed you.  When I was younger I couldn’t wait to be old enough to work in a retail store.  And I used to dream of one day owning my own store. Sometimes I even wish I studied fashion design in college.  But eventually my love of style and fashion grew into what you know today as Shoptini. Being a stylist and a fashion blogger has given me a creative outlet to share my style and help others find theirs.

As you know, I love supporting and working with local businesses.  And in turn I have been extremely honored with how they have also embraced working with me!  I see each partnership as a gift because I am so thankful for everyone that believes and trusts in me to represent their brand.

Alex, the owner of Hello Addie boutique, opened her shop in Federal Hill about 6 months ago.  She’s had an online presence for a couple years now, but this is her first brick and mortar store.  I met her at the grand opening and we hit it off immediately!  Shortly thereafter, we started talking about different ideas of how we could work together.  We both wanted to do something different, something that would really stand out as a unique project in Baltimore.

And from those brainstorming sessions, the Shoptini Holiday Collection was born!  We sat down and looked through various line sheets and I personally selected each piece.  This collection is for the women of Baltimore and beyond. We want them to look their best through the holidays and into the new year.  With so many events going on around this time of year, a girl’s gotta have something to wear! When women wear a piece in the Shoptini Holiday Collection I want them to feel confident, sexy and pretty. The full collection is comprised of a jumpsuit, skirt, crop pant, jacket, bodysuit, top, two sweaters and three dresses. Since this was something new in Baltimore, we really wanted to embrace our collaboration and share it with the local fashion community.

So we decided to host a launch party in Federal Hill to celebrate this exclusive collection! The party took place at Bookmaker’s on Cross St.  We had drinks and apps for our guests, as well as sweet treats from Flavor Cupcakery. There was also a photo booth from Snap Bash with a beautiful custom backdrop from Ikam Create and signs from Signs of Our Lives.  Of course we displayed samples of the Shoptini Holiday Collection (and other items from Hello Addie) for the girls to look at and try on!

This party was a big deal for Alex and I as neither one of us had done this type of event before.  We were a little nervous at first as ticket sales started off slow.  But it turned out to be such an amazing event!  The room was packed and from what I could tell, everyone was having a really good time!  The energy was just awesome!  I myself had so much fun!  And I was really humbled by the love and support our community showed to me and Alex.

If you were there, I can’t THANK YOU enough for your support! If you couldn’t make it for whatever reason, I missed you and hope to see you at another event soon.  One of the things I want everyone to know, is that I LOVE meeting new people and sharing stories and ideas.  If you see me at an event, please come say hi.  I’d love to meet you!  And if you happen to buy one of the pieces from my collection (which you totally should be cause they are awesome), please send me a photo (or tag me on social media) and let me know what you think!

I’m beyond grateful for Alex believing in me enough to do this collaboration.  And I’m grateful for all of YOU!  Whether you’re a personal friend, or part of my social family following along with my adventures on my blog and Instagram, I appreciate you!  It’s all of you that make this community what it is.  And that make me so proud to be a part of it!

Please check out the Shoptini Holiday Collection at Hello Addie Boutique!  The first run of pieces are available in store and online now!  The second wave will drop in a few weeks.

HUGE thank you to all the businesses that helped us highlight our Holiday Collection in these photos and launch party!
