Summer Trend: Fantastic Fruit Fashion #LOTD Vol. 16

Orange you excited to see this week’s Look of the Day Series? I’m sure you know it’s a sweet one all about fantastic fruit fashion!! For the past few years fruit fashion has been a popular summer trend. Out of all the fruits lemons seem to have risen to the top as the most popular styled fruit to wear. You can pretty much find lemon anything… dresses, pants, earrings, handbags, beach towels, pool floats… just to name a few! I was pleasantly surprised to see that this season offered an array of various fruit fashion. Many of the styles even include multiple fruit prints.

This week’s inspiration started with Amanda Uprichard’s Peaches collection. I immediately fell in love with their Harmony Dress, a fit and flare silhouette. With a close second being their coordinating two-piece set the Spade top and Conrad Shorts. I then decided to search and see what other non-lemon fruit items were available. Since there was a great selection I decided each look of the day would feature a different fruit print. Below you will see dresses styled with oranges, peaches, bananas, pineapples, and yes lemons too!

OH SO SWEET TREND

As you all know I personally love dresses and tend to wear them a lot. And I’m glad to know most of you enjoy them too! Beyond loving dresses they are also an easy go-to for cool and comfortable summer styling. However, if dresses aren’t your style that’s okay! There are a variety of ways to participate in this “Oh So Sweet” trend. You could easily add a fruit themed handbag or earring to your look. Or you could wholeheartedly embrace the fashionable fruit trend with a romper, two piece set or pair of pants.
